I really enjoy this photo, the way the contrast of the model's dress makes her stand out from the background, while the skin tones and shadows on the skin work with the background elements to unify the image. The way your signature is worked into the image is a nice touch, almost as if it's engraved on the glass.
The pose is nicely balanced but intriguing in the way that the head seems to be turned away from something rather than turning to look at something. Which brings me to the one thing about this piece that bothers me, the fact that right image is a simple mirror of the left zoomed and cropped. I think it would have worked better if you'd been able to get a similar shot of the model looking the other way because the way it is now, the mirrored elements just jump out at my eye (the folding pattern on the collar, the shadows along the neck).
I've really enjoyed this recent sequence of images you've posted recently and it's that the prompted me to write this critique.
ich mag es wirklich. und das obwohl ich immer sehr kritisch gegenüber schwarz weiß bildern bin aber kann es sein, dass ihr Ohr auf dem linken Bild ienfach viel zu hell ist?!
I'm becoming such a fan of your pictures. Seems there is always something in them to catch my eyes. I have no photo education at all so I cant say much on light and such things. But I can say that my uneducated eyes like what you feed them with In this one the neck really catch my eyes. It makes it interesting somehow. As a whole. I cant stop looking at it. Looking forward to see more from you! keep this lovely spam going
